Assurans tablet is used for the treatment of high blood pressure which affects the arteries in your lungs & heart (pulmonary arterial hypertension) to improve exercise ability.

Contraindications of Assurans 20 MG

If you are allergic to sildenafil or any other ingredients of Assurans tablet
If you suffer from any heart problems like stroke, heart attack, very low blood pressure or have any liver problems.
If you have ever had a loss of vision due to certain condition
If you are taking riociguat which is used in the treatment of arterial blood pressure
If you are taking certain medicines (nitrates) which can lead to a decrease in blood pressure.
If you are taking medicines such as ketoconazole, itraconazole to treat a fungal infection or are taking ritonavir used in HIV infection

Pregnancy

Breast Feeding

Can I take Assurans tablet while breastfeeding?

It is unknown if sildenafil passes into human milk, hence you should not take Assurans tablet while breastfeeding. Consult a doctor before taking it.

Driving

Can I drive if I have consumed Assurans tablet?

Avoid driving if you feel dizzy or experience altered vision after taking Assurans tablet

Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol with Assurans tablet?

Do not consume alcohol with Assurans tablet as it may worsen the side effects.

Other General Warnings

Talk to your doctor if

You have any problems with your heart, lungs, kidney or liver.
You have a certain eye condition like retinitis pigmentosa
You have sickle cell anaemia.
You have any deformities of your penis.
You have blood cancer or cancer of bone marrow
You experience decreased or loss of vision or hearing loss
You are suffering from any bleeding problem like a stomach ulcer.
You are taking medicines to treat impotency (erectile dysfunction)
You have painful erection that lasts for 4hrs or more
You are taking medicines containing Vitamin K antagonists (such as warfarin, heparin, rivaroxaban, etc)
Sildenafil is not recommended for use (prolonged use) in children

How Does It Work?

Sildenafil works by widening the blood vessels in your lungs, thus reducing your blood pressure.

Directions for Use of Assurans 20 MG

Assurans tablet should be taken as directed by your doctor.
Swallow it whole with a glass of water, do not cut, break or chew the medicine.
It can be taken with or without food.
It would be best if you took it at a fixed time for optimal results.
You should not consume it more than that prescribed by your doctor.

Some medicines can affect the way Assurans tablet works or this medicine itself can reduce the effectiveness of other medicines taken at the same time.

Overdose

Symptoms of an overdose are headache, dizziness, indigestion, skin redness, stuffy nose, altered vision.
If you experience any of the symptoms or think you have taken too much of Manforce 25 mg tablets, contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital.

Missed a Dose

If you have missed taking any dose of Assurans tablet, take it as soon as you remember.
If it's time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dose
schedule.
Do not take a double dose of medicine to compensate for the missed one.
