• Aristozyme Pineapple Flavour liquid is used for the treatment of indigestion & symptoms associated with it.
• Helps relieve the symptoms of indigestion, including fullness or heaviness after meals, bloating, excessive wind, belching, discomfort in the upper abdomen and loss of appetite.
• Supplies the digestive enzymes diastase and pepsin to help break down starch and protein from food into simpler forms that the body can absorb, supporting digestion when the body's own enzyme activity is inadequate.
• Used to support digestion and appetite during and after recovery from an illness, and in people with poor food intake, when advised by a doctor.
• Used as a digestive aid after heavy, oily or unaccustomed meals, and in functional dyspepsia, where indigestion occurs without a structural cause being found.

• Shake well before use.
• Use a measuring cup, spoon or a dropper for the exact quantity
• Use the measuring cup supplied with the pack rather than a kitchen spoon, as the amount delivered by a household spoon varies widely.
• Take it just before or along with a meal, so that the enzymes are present in the stomach while the food is actually being digested. Taking it long after eating is much less useful.
• Do not take it with very hot drinks or hot food, as heat destroys the enzyme activity.
• Avoid taking antacids, or acid-reducing medicines such as omeprazole or pantoprazole, at the same time as Aristozyme Pineapple Flavour liquid. Leave at least an hour between them, because pepsin needs stomach acid in order to work.
• Replace the cap tightly after each use and keep the bottle upright and away from heat.
• Use it for short periods as directed. Tell your doctor if your indigestion does not improve, or keeps returning after you stop.
• Do not consume it more than that recommended by your doctor.

• Keep the medicine away from children and pets.

• This is an enzyme preparation, not an antacid. It helps food break down, but it does not neutralise acid and will not relieve heartburn or acid reflux.
• Take it with or just before food rather than well after a meal, so the enzymes work alongside the food being digested.
• Shake the bottle well before every dose and measure each dose with the cup provided.
• Keep an interval of at least an hour between this liquid and any antacid or acid-reducing tablet, otherwise the pepsin will be inactivated and will not help.
