Amisant 50 MG Description

Amisant tablet is used to treat psychiatric disorders like schizophrenia, which affects a person's ability to think, feel and behave correctly. It has positive symptoms like confusion and hallucinati

on and negative symptoms like lack of facial expression and decreased speaking. Helping with both positive and negative symptoms is the primary use of Amisant tablet. The active ingredient of the Amisant tablet is amisulpride. It is an atypical antipsychotic medicine. The mode of action of the Amisant tablet is by blocking receptors and increasing dopamine and serotonin levels in the brain. These chemical substances help stabilise mood and prevent overactivity of the nerve cells in the brain. Nausea, dizziness, vomiting, etc., are some of the side effects of Amisant tablets. It is not meant for use in children under 18. It is vital to inform the treating doctor of any prescribed medicines being taken to check for any potential interactions and adverse effects. Also, persons suffering from heart diseases, kidney or liver problems, seizures, etc., or other previous conditions should inform their doctor.
