- Depression
- Panic disorder
Contraindications
- Allergy
- You should not use this medication if you have a known allergy to alprazolam or any of the other components.
- Acute Narrow-angle glaucoma
- Glaucoma patients should use this drug with caution if they have narrow-angle glaucoma. The usage of this drug may induce an increase in intraocular pressure, exacerbating the disease's symptoms.
- Severe Liver Impairment
- If you have active liver problems, you should avoid taking the Ambulax M Tablet. In the liver, this drug is broken down and absorbed before it is eliminated in the urine.
- Other contraindications include:
- Myasthenia gravis
- Preexisting central nervous system depression or coma
- Respiratory depression
- Acute pulmonary insufficiency

- Suicidal tendencies
- Suicidal thoughts and increased suicidal tendencies have been linked to the use of this medication. So in patients with depression, use Ambulax Tablet with caution, especially if the suicidal risk is present. People with depression treated with alprazolam have experienced mania or hypomania.
