Aldactone 100mg Tab is classified as a diuretic. Diuretics are the medicines which prevent the absorption of excess salt and water by your body.
Uses of Aldactone 100mg Tab
Aldactone 100mg Tab uses include treatment of oedema (fluid retention) in cases of congestive heart failure, liver cirrhosis and nephrotic syndrome and also to treat or prevent hypokalaemia (low level of potassium in blood).
Contraindications of Aldactone 100mg Tab
Aldactone 100mg Tab is contraindicated in the following conditions: if you are allergic to spironolactone, if you are unable to urinate properly, if you have severe kidney disease, if you have high level of potassium in your body or have weakness, weight loss and low blood pressure.
