Molecule Description
Moxifloxacin + Dexamethasone Phosphate is a combination of an antibiotic and a corticosteroid used to manage bacterial infections of the eye while also reducing associated inflammation, swelling, and discomfort, particularly after eye surgery or injury. Moxifloxacin works by stopping the growth of bacteria responsible for the infection, while dexamethasone helps relieve redness, pain, and irritation by suppressing inflammation. Mild symptoms such as blurred vision, eye redness, irritation, headache, or dizziness may occur initially, but these usually resolve as the treatment continues. This combination is not recommended for individuals below 18 years of age, and you should inform your doctor about your medical condition and any ongoing treatments before use to ensure safety and proper guidance.
