Contraindications of Itopride

When should one not use Itopride

If you are allergic to itopride or similar medicines.
If you have a blockage, perforation (tear) or bleeding in the intestine or stomach.

Pregnancy

Can I take itopride during pregnancy?

Itopride should not be used during pregnancy unless considered absolutely essential by your doctor as there is limited safety information available in pregnant women.

Breast Feeding

Itopride is not recommended while breastfeeding as it is unknown if it passes into breast milk. Contact your doctor before using it.

Driving
