Ceftriaxone is used to treat various bacterial infections such as infection of

the brain, lungs, ear, stomach, urinary tract, joints, blood, skin and soft tissues. It works killing the infection-causing bacteria. Ceftriaxone belongs to a group of medicine called an antibiotic. It is available in the form of tablet, syrup, injection and dry syrup.
