Enzoflam tablet is a pain-relieving medicine that relieves joint and bone pain, swelling, and inflammation. It is a combination medicine containing diclofenac, paracetamol, and serratiopeptidase. Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that reduces the production of the chemical prostaglandin, which is responsible for swelling and pain. Paracetamol works by interfering with the action of certain enzymes that provide analgesic and anti-pyretic effects. Serratiopeptidase is an enzyme that reduces inflammation by thinning the fluids around the injury site.
Some other tablets containing diclofenac, paracetamol and serratiopeptidase are Seradic P tablet, Diclogesic Sp tablet, Ebility tablet, Zinase Dp tablet and Diclotal Plus Sp tablet.
Enzoflam tablets should be taken as instructed by the doctor, at the correct doses and for the exact duration prescribed. Take it regularly at a fixed time. Do not skip a dose or exceed the doctor's recommended dose. Also, do not abruptly discontinue this medicine without first consulting your doctor.
Before starting treatment with this medicine, tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding. Also, inform your doctor of your complete medical history.
