Medical Description
Zosert Tablet belongs to the class of medicines known as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). This medicine treats anxiety disorders, depressions, and obsessive-compulsive disorders (OCDs). The endogenous serotonin in your body is responsible for balancing your mood, feelings of wellbeing, and happiness. When your serotonin levels in the body reduce, you may develop anxiety or depression. Zosert Tablet contains sertraline that inhibits the reuptake of serotonin in the presynaptic cleft, raising the level of serotonin in the synaptic cleft, thereby reducing anxiety and depressive symptoms. The effects of sertraline typically take a minimum of seven days. Side effects of Zosert include sexual difficulties and feeling sick that usually subside on their own. However, if these symptoms tend to worsen or persist for a longer time, consult your doctor....
