Zelid Gel
Description
Zelid gel is a topical medication used to relieve pain and swelling in conditions like rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. It contains nimesulide as an active ingredient. It works by blocking certain substances in the body that cause inflammation and discomfort, helping reduce joint pain and swelling.
Apply this medication only to the skin as directed by your doctor. Always clean and dry the affected area before use, and wash your hands before and after applying it, unless your hands are being treated. Be careful not to get it in your eyes or mouth.
Some people may experience mild side effects, such as redness, itching, dryness, or a stinging sensation, where the gel is applied. If these symptoms persist or worsen, discontinue use of the product and consult your doctor.
Please inform your doctor about any other medications you are taking, especially blood thinners or diabetes medications. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, only use this gel if advised by your doctor and avoid applying it to large areas or near the breast while nursing.
