Xykaa Rapid 650 tablet is a painkiller medicine. It is used to treat fever, pain, and ache. It contains paracetamol/acetaminophen as its active ingredient. It belongs to a group of medicines called analgesics (painkillers) and antipyretics (fever-reducing). This medicine works by blocking the formation of certain chemicals responsible for fever and pain. Take this medicine as suggested by the doctor and in the dose and duration prescribed. You should not take more than 4 tablets of Xykaa Rapid 650 in 24 hours. If you feel that your pain and fever are relieved, do not take it further. This medicine is not meant for children under 12 years of age. Before using this medicine, inform the doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or breastfeeding and about your detailed medical history.

How Does It Work?
- There are certain chemicals in the body called prostaglandins that cause pain, swelling, and fever. Xykaa Rapid 650 tablet blocks the production of these prostaglandins and controls fever or pain.
- It also acts on the area of the brain which is responsible for controlling temperature. Thus, it brings down the fever.
Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- Some medicines can affect the way Xykaa Rapid 650 tablet works or this medicine itself can reduce the effectiveness of other medicines taken at the same time.
- Tell your doctor about all the medicines, supplements, or herbals you are currently taking or might take to avoid any possible interaction.
- Particular care should be taken if you are taking medicines used to treat nausea/vomiting like metoclopramide or domperidone, medicines to thin blood like warfarin, and medicines used to treat bacterial infections like chloramphenicol.
- Cholesterol-lowering medicines like cholestyramine should not be taken within one hour of taking Xykaa Rapid 650 tablet.
