Visopred Eye Drop 10ml
Description
Visopred eye drop is a medication that belongs to the steroid class. It is used to treat redness and swelling in the eyes caused by infections or allergies. This medication helps relieve redness, itching, and soreness by inhibiting the release of substances in the body that trigger inflammation.
Before using Visopred eye drop for the first time, make sure the seal is intact. To use it, wash your hands thoroughly and shake the bottle well before each application. If you wear contact lenses, remove them and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting them after using the eye drops.
Do not stop using this medication without consulting your doctor, as discontinuing it prematurely may allow bacteria to continue growing, leading to a recurrence of the infection. The most common side effects of Visopred eye drop may include a burning sensation, irritation, watery eyes, or temporary blurred vision. If you experience blurred vision or any significant changes in your eyesight, refrain from driving until your vision returns to normal.

Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- Using medications that block an enzyme called CYP3A, such as cobicistat-containing products, can increase the amount of steroid absorbed into the body. This raises the risk of serious steroid side effects, including weight gain, swelling, mood changes, or high blood pressure....
- Combining these eye drops with CYP3A inhibitors should generally be avoided unless absolutely necessary. In such cases, close monitoring by your doctor is crucial to detect any potential side effects.
- Always share a complete list of all medications you're taking with your doctor or pharmacist to help prevent harmful interactions.
