Veloz 20 MG Description

Veloz 20 tablet is used for relieving acidity and heartburn due to acid reflux in GERD. It is also used to treat stomach and intestinal ulcers associated with acid reflux disease and Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome. Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), also known as acid reflux condition, where the stomach acid moves back up to the food pipe along with the contents of the stomach, characterized by heartburn, chest pain, burning, pain and regurgitation of food or sour liquid due to irritation of the stomach.

Veloz 20 tablet contains rabeprazole as the active ingredient. Rabeprazole in Veloz 20 acts by blocking the action of micropumps in the stomach wall, which is responsible for acid production. This medication reduces the amount of acid produced in the stomach. Razo 20 tablet, Cyra 20 tablet, Rablet 20 tablet, Rabekind 20 tablet, and Rabium 20 tablet are some other medicines with rabeprazole as a main component.

You should take this medicine preferably in the morning, 30 minutes before meals. Patients with osteoporosis, diarrhoea, electrolyte imbalance and liver problems should use this medicine cautiously. Along with this medicine, a change in lifestyle aids in achieving better control over the condition. Avoid smoking, drinking, and consuming oily, fried and junk food along with carbonated drinks.
