Mode of Action

How Does It Work?

Hydrochlorothiazide present in tablet is a diuretic, commonly referred to as a water pill. It functions by eliminating excess water and salt from the body, helping to lower the pressure within the blood vessels and reducing the strain on the heart. Valsartan in tablet works by blocking a substance in the body that causes the blood vessels to constrict, thus relaxing the blood vessels and allowing blood to flow more freely. This results in a reduction of blood pressure.
