Interactions
Interactions with food items
- Furosemide and nifedipine increase levels of metformin in blood
- Ranolazine, vandetanib, dolutegravir, and cimetidine could increase systemic levels of metformin and thus, the risk for lactic acidosis
- Carbonic anhydrate inhibitors can increase the risk of lactic acidosis when given with Tendia M Forte
