Medical Description

Telekast F tablet is an anti-allergic medicine. It is used for the management of symptoms of allergic rhinitis. It is a condition characterised by a runny & stuffed nose, blockage in airways, sneezing, itching, watery eyes and other allergic symptoms.

Telekast F Tablet is a combination medicine containing montelukast and fexofenadine as active ingredients. This medicine acts by blocking the production of chemicals responsible for allergic symptoms, thereby alleviating the symptoms and providing relief. It is advised to take this medicine, preferably at bedtime as it may cause dizziness.

Medicines with a combination of montelukast and fexofenadine are Allegra M tablet, Telekast F tablet, Emlukast Fx tablet, Histafree M tablet, and Montek Fx tablet. It should be taken as directed by the doctor and in doses and duration as prescribed. Before using Telekast F, inform the doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding and about your detailed medical history.

Tab Telekast F should be taken as directed by your doctor.
Swallow it whole with a glass of water. Do not cut, break or chew the medicine.

Telekast F tablet works by the combined action of montelukast and fexofenadine.

Concomitant use of antibiotics such as erythromycin or antifungals such as Ketoconazole can increase the levels of this medicine.
Maintain a minimum gap of 2 hours between the administration of Telekast F and antacid medicines containing aluminium and magnesium.
