Tacronol 0.1% Tube Of 10gm Ointment
Description
Tacronol 0.1% Ointment is a medicine used to treat eczema, a skin condition that causes redness, itching, and inflammation. It contains tacrolimus as its active ingredient, which works by calming the body’s immune response in the affected skin. This helps reduce irritation, swelling, and itching, allowing your skin to heal naturally. It is usually prescribed when other treatments, such as steroid creams, have not worked well or caused side effects.
This ointment is meant for external use only and should be applied exactly as directed by your doctor. Usually, a thin layer is applied to the affected areas of the skin, avoiding contact with the eyes, mouth, and open wounds. Wash your hands before and after applying the ointment unless your hands are being treated. It’s important to use only the prescribed amount and not to cover the treated area with a bandage or dressing unless your doctor advises you to do so.
When you first start using Tacronol 0.1% Ointment, you might feel mild burning, itching, or warmth at the site of application. These effects are generally temporary and tend to improve as your skin adjusts to the medicine. However, if these symptoms continue or worsen, inform your doctor for further advice. Avoid using this ointment on infected skin unless your doctor recommends it.
Before using Tacronol 0.1% Ointment, tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding. You should also share your complete medical history, especially if you have any skin infections, immune disorders, or if you are using any other topical medicines. This will help your doctor ensure that Tacronol 0.1% Ointment is safe and suitable for you.
To get the best results, use Tacronol 0.1% Ointment regularly as prescribed. Avoid direct sunlight or tanning beds during treatment, as your skin may become more sensitive to sunlight. With proper use and care, this medicine can effectively relieve eczema symptoms and help restore your skin's health and comfort.
