How Does It Work?
Dolutegravir and tenofovir alafenamide inhibits HIV integrase by binding to the integrase active site, which blocks the strand transfer of retroviral DNA acid integration, thereby terminating the essential step for the HIV replication cycle. Emtricitabine is a nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor that works similarly by obstructing the multiplication of HIV....
