Uses
- Spectra 10 mg capsule is used for the treatment of:
- Depressive disorder to relieve symptoms of sadness, loss of interest, and irritability
- Anxiety disorder to alleviate symptoms of nervousness, panic, and fear
- Insomnia
Contraindications
- Do not take Spectra 10 mg capsule or take with caution:
- If you have a known allergy to doxepin or any other active component of this medicine.
- If you have a history of narrow-angle glaucoma.
- If you have a history of urine retention.
- If you have high blood pressure, liver or kidney issues.
- If you have taken monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOs) in the last 15 days.
Side effects
- Spectra 10 mg capsules may have the following side effects:
- Sleepiness
- Blurred vision
- Increased heart rate
- Weight gain
- Dry mouth
- Painful urination
