Description

Sompraz D 40 Capsule is used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (acid reflux), Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, and stomach ulcers. It helps relieve symptoms such as heartburn, stomach pain, and irritation by neutralizing the acid in the stomach and promoting the easy passage of gas to reduce stomach discomfort.

Sompraz D is a combination medication containing domperidone and esomeprazole. It works by reducing the production of digestive acids and increasing the motility of the stomach and intestines.

Sompraz D 40 capsule should be taken as directed by the doctor, in the doses and duration prescribed. It should be taken at least an hour before the meal, as your doctor prescribes.

While taking this medicine, avoid consuming food that can increase acidity, avoid lying down after a meal, and take your last meal at least two hours before bedtime. Consult the doctor to understand what works best for you.

Nexpro Rd 40mg capsule, Esmetru D capsule, Esogress D 40mg capsule, Raciper D capsule, and Es Omepraz Dsr capsule are some other medications with domperidone and esomeprazole.

Contraindications of SOMPRAZ D 40MG STRIP OF 15 CAPSULES

If you are allergic to esomeprazole domperidone, or any other ingredients of the Sompraz D capsule.
If you are taking any medicine that might affect the heart muscle's contraction (QT prolongation).
If you have a blockage or tear in the intestine or bleeding in the digestive system.
If you are suffering from liver or kidney disorder.
If you have severe heart problems such as congestive heart failure, heart rhythm problems, or electrolyte imbalance.
If you have any pituitary gland tumour (Prolactin pituitary tumours).
If you are taking medicines such as nelfinavir (used in HIV infection), clarithromycin (antibiotic), ketoconazole (antifungal) or verapamil (used in high blood pressure and chest pain)
