Saipod-CV 200/ tablet is a combination antibiotic used for certain bacterial respiratory tract infections. It contains cefpodoxime proxetil, which weakens the protective wall bacteria need, and clavulanic acid, which blocks enzymes that can make cefpodoxime less effective, so susceptible bacteria are easier to clear. Saipod-CV tablet is swallowed whole with water and may be taken with food or without it. It does not treat colds or flu caused by viruses.
