Description
Rtx Rt Tablet is an antimalarial medicine used to treat malaria. It contains artesunate. Your doctor will add other antimalarial medicines along with this Tablet to treat your malaria infection compl
etely. It works by generating harmful chemicals (free radicals) inside the malarial parasite, ultimately leading to its death. Headache, nausea, and discomfort are some common side effects of this medicine. However, these are temporary and go away on their own. Before starting it, inform the doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding and about your detailed medical history. Swallow the tablets as a whole. Do not crush or chew. Take exactly as directed by your doctor.

How Does It Work?
Rtx Rt Tablet works by generating harmful chemicals (free radicals) inside the malarial parasite, ultimately leading to its death. It inhibits the growth and survival of malaria parasites.
Directions for Use
- Rtx Rt Tablet should be taken as directed by your doctor.
- Swallow it whole with a glass of water.
- Do not cut, break or chew the medicine.
- It can be taken with or without food.
- It would be best if you took it at a fixed time for optimal results.
- Do not consume it more than that prescribed by your doctor.
Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- Concomitant administration with medicines such as ritonavir, nevirapine, rifampin, carbamazepine and phenytoin decreases the blood concentration of Rtx Rt Tablet.
- Medicines like axitinib, vandetanib, imatinib and diclofenac should be given with caution as they may increase the adverse effects of Rtx Rt Tablet.
- Tell your doctor about all the medicines or herbal supplements that you are taking before starting this Tablet.
Storage and disposal
Store Rtx Rt Tablet at room temperature in a clean and dry place, protected from moisture, sunlight and heat.
Keep the medicine away from children and pets.
Discard any unused medicine properly. Do not flush in the toilet or throw it into the drain....
