Rizanet 5 MG Description

Rizanet 5mg box of 10 oral disintegrating strips contains rizatriptan as the active molecule. This tablet is used to treat acute attacks of migraine. Rizatriptan constricts the pain-producing blood v

essels outside the brain, reduces pain signal transmission, and decreases inflammation in the sensitive tissues. This medicine is only available on a doctor's prescription and should be taken at a dose and for a duration prescribed by the doctor. Do not use this medicine during pregnancy and breastfeeding unless recommended by a doctor. In addition, this medicine is not recommended in children and adolescents below 18 years of age. Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you are allergic to any ingredients. Contact your doctor immediately if you notice any unusual side effects after taking this medicine.

Concomitant use of methysergide, sumatriptan, zolmitriptan, or naratriptan causes high blood pressure
Concomitant use of monoamine oxidase inhibitors causes increased blood levels of rizatriptan
Concomitant use of propranolol causes increased blood levels of rizatriptan

Dosage of Rizanet 5 MG

Overdose

Overdose results in sleepiness, fainting, slow heart beat or change in heart beats, and vomiting. Contact your doctor or reach out to the nearest hospital immediately, in case of an overdose.
