Description

Resophyl Forte Tablet is a prescription medication. It contains Diethylcarbamazine as its active ingredient. It manages certain worm infections. Symptoms of these infections may include itchy skin, a

bdominal pain, muscle pain, and areas of swelling under the skin. It may be administered alone or in combination with medicines like Ivermectin and Albendazole. It should be noted that this medication is effective only against certain worms. When infected by non-sensitive worms, taking this medication may lead to undesirable side effects. This medication may also be prescribed to you before performing a blood test called DEC provocation test/Hetrazan test. This test is used to diagnose certain worm infections like Filariasis. It is important to follow up with your doctor regularly to ensure the infection has been treated completely. You may need to get regular eye examinations to check for side effects. This medication should only be taken on prescription by a doctor.
