Medical Description
Propysalic NF ointment contains a combination of clobetasol and salicylic acid as its active ingredient. It is used to treat skin conditions such as psoriasis and eczema. It is used for the treatment of skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema and other dry, scaly conditions of the skin. It is meant only for external application and should be applied exactly as recommended by your doctor. You may experience some application site reactions as side effects, but they normally fade away with time. Please report to your doctor if you notice the side effects persist or worsen.

Contraindications of PROPYSALIC NF OINT 30GM
- If you are allergic to Clobetasol, Salicylic acid or any other ingredients of Propysalic NF ointment.
- If you have acne or rosacea (a skin condition affecting the face).
- If you have itching of skin without scaling of the skin.
- If you have itching around your private parts.
- If you have a skin infection over the area around the mouth.
- If you have a viral infection of the skin such as chickenpox infection or herpes infection.
- If you have a fungal or bacterial infection of the skin.
- If you are using this medicine for the treatment of skin ulcers.

- You have problems with your vision after using Propysalic NF ointment.
- You do not notice any improvement in your condition while on treatment.
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- You should avoid getting any medicine into your eyes, nose, mouth, open wounds, armpits, private parts. In case of such exposure, you should wash the affected part thoroughly with water.
- Propysalic NF ointment should not be used to treat any other condition than that prescribed by the doctor.

- Salicylic acid works by removing and shedding dead cells from the top layer of skin by increasing skin moisture resulting in a decrease in scaling and dryness.

- Propysalic NF ointment is applied externally on the skin, thus it is less likely to interact with other medicines taken orally. However, it may interact with other topically applied ointments, lotion and gel. Discuss with your doctor if you are already on another topical gel or ointment....
- Propysalic NF ointment should be used with caution along with ritonavir (used in HIV infection) and itraconazole (used to treat fungal infections), as it may increase the risk of having side effects.
