Pirox Injection works by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2).

Interactions with other medicines

Pirox Injection decreases platelet aggregation and increases bleeding time
Risk of nephrotoxicity when ciclosporin is given with Pirox Injection
Corticosteroids increase the risk of ulceration with Pirox Injection
If you consume other medications, do mention it to your physician before administering Pirox Injection

Storage and disposal of Pirox 20 MG

Store at room temperature 20°C to 25°C, keep away from pets and children

Dosage of Pirox 20 MG

Overdose

Overdose of Pirox Injection may require activated charcoal to re-absorb the medicine
Do seek immediate medical attention if you over dose.

Missed a Dose

If you miss a dose of Pirox Injection, ask your physician for a new dose schedule. Do not take double doses.
