Pentaloc DSR Capsule is a prescription medicine used to treat Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), a condition in which stomach acid flows back into the food pipe (oesophagus). This backflow, also called acid reflux, can cause discomfort, a burning sensation in the chest (heartburn), belching, nausea, and even chest pain. GERD occurs when the lower oesophageal sphincter does not function properly, allowing acid to irritate the oesophagus.
The active ingredients in Pentaloc DSR Capsule are pantoprazole and domperidone. Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces the production of stomach acid, providing relief from heartburn and other stomach irritations. Domperidone is a prokinetic agent that enhances the motility of the stomach and intestines, facilitating faster stomach emptying and preventing acid reflux into the oesophagus. - If you have any heart conditions such as heart failure,irregular heart rhythm, electrolyte or salt imbalance.

- You may be asked by your doctor to perform certain tests regularly if you are taking this medicine for long-term treatment.
