Pedicloryl belongs to a group of drugs known as sedative-hypnotics and is classified as non- barbiturate. The active ingredient in Pedicloryl is triclofos. This medicine has the advantage of good taste and palatability, leading to better acceptance by children. It has wide availability, low cost, and lesser side effects. It is beneficial in inducing deep, prolonged sleep with quick onset.
