- Serious allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis and anaphylactic shock (hives, swollen face, breathing trouble, chest pain)
- Serotonin syndrome (a life-threatening reaction with symptoms such as agitation, hallucinations, confusion, coma, dizziness, sweating, flushing, or fever, seizures, fast heartbeat, unusual blood pressure changes, tremors, stiff muscles, muscle twitching, overactive reflexes, loss of coordination, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhoea)
- Heart rhythm changes (QT/QTc prolongation)
- Myocardial ischemia
- Laryngospasm (sudden closure of the vocal cords affecting breathing)

- Palozest Injection may rarely cause a serious allergic reaction, including anaphylaxis.
- It may cause serotonin syndrome, particularly when combined with other serotonergic medicines.
- Talk to your doctor if:
- You have had an allergic reaction to another anti-nausea medicine.
- You are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
- You experience symptoms of an allergic reaction or serotonin syndrome after receiving Palozest Injection.
- You have a history of constipation or symptoms of constipation or bowel blockage.
Directions for Use
- Your doctor will decide the dosage of Palozest Injection based on your treatment plan.
- Palozest Injection is administered as an intravenous (IV) infusion.
- Palozest Injection should only be administered by a healthcare professional in a hospital or clinical setting. Do not self-administer this medication.
Storage and disposal
- Since Palozest Injection is administered in a hospital setting, appropriate storage and disposal will be followed by your healthcare team.
- Palozest Injection should be kept out of the sight and reach of children.
- Palozest Injection should not be used after the expiry date.
- Store Palozest Injection at controlled room temperature (20°C to 25°C); brief variations between 15°C to 30°C are allowed.
- Protect Palozest Injection from light.
- Do not freeze Palozest Injection.
