Oxaliptin Injection 25ml
Description
Oxaliptin Injection is used in the treatment of colon and rectal cancer. It works by stopping or slowing down the growth of cancer cells. This medication is administered as an injection by a qualifie
d medical professional. Your doctor will determine the necessary dose and how often you need to receive it, based on your specific treatment needs, which may change over time. It is important to take it exactly as your doctor advises; taking it incorrectly or in excessive amounts can lead to serious side effects. Common side effects include nausea, fatigue, vomiting, and diarrhea. This medicine may decrease the number of red and white blood cells in your blood, increasing your susceptibility to infections. Be aware that it may cause serious allergic reactions. If you experience sore lips, mouth ulcers, a rash, itching, or difficulty breathing, inform your doctor immediately. Before starting Oxaliptin Injection, be sure to inform your doctor if you have a history of heart disease, liver or kidney problems, or if you are taking any medications for infections. Many other medicines can interact with this treatment, so it’s important to inform your healthcare team of all medications you are currently using. This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding, as it can cause infertility in men. Therefore, men should consult their doctor about the possibility of freezing sperm before starting treatment.
