Medical Description
Orasore Gel is a fast-acting oral pain relief gel widely used to treat mouth ulcers, sores, and minor mouth injuries. It is beneficial for ulcers caused by sharp teeth, braces, dentures, or accidental bites. The gel works quickly to ease discomfort, allowing you to eat, drink, and talk more comfortably.
This mouth ulcer gel contains a combination of lignocaine hydrochloride and choline salicylate. Lignocaine acts as a local anaesthetic to numb the ulcerated area, while choline salicylate reduces pain, swelling, and inflammation. Together, they provide soothing relief from burning sensations and irritation. Added ingredients like glycerine and spearmint keep the mouth fresh and moisturised, enhancing comfort.
To use this mouth ulcer gel, apply a small amount directly to the affected area with a clean finger or applicator. It is generally recommended to apply it 3 to 4 times daily, or as directed by your doctor. Avoid eating or drinking for at least one hour after application so the medicine can work effectively.
Most people tolerate Orasore Gel well, but mild side effects like temporary numbness or irritation may occur. If your mouth ulcer does not heal within a week or if pain continues, you should consult your doctor or dentist for further evaluation. Long-term or repeated use without medical advice should be avoided.
Other mouth ulcer gels that contain choline salicylate and lignocaine as their main ingredients include Dologel Ct gel, Ora Fast gel, Dologel gel, Orahelp gel, and Dentogel gel. These gels work similarly to relieve ulcer pain and inflammation.
