Quick Tips
- If your eyes feel sensitive to light, wearing sunglasses can help reduce the discomfort. Sunglasses block ultraviolet (UV) rays and bright visible light, easing irritation.
- If your doctor has prescribed eye drops, follow their instructions carefully. Depending on the cause of your irritation, these drops may be lubricants, antihistamines, or steroids.
- Consult your doctor if they recommend avoiding specific activities that might worsen your eye strain. This could include extensive screen time and reading in low light or dusty environments.
- Give your eyes a break! Similar to how resting your body helps with fatigue, resting your eyes can help them recover from irritation.
