Nintena 150 MG Description

Nintena capsule is is an immunomodulator medicine. It contains nintedanib as its active ingredient. It is used for the treatment of a rare type of lung disease called Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (I

PF). It is also used for the treatment of a certain form of lung cancer along with another anticancer medicine docetaxel. It works by decreasing the activity of enzymes (tyrosine kinases) that causes fibrosis (scarring) thus helping slow down scarring of the lungs. Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis is a lung condition in which tissue of the lungs becomes scarred which makes the lungs unable to transport oxygen into the bloodstream effectively. It may be caused due to abnormal tissue repair following tissue damage. The dose and duration of the treatment with this medicine will be decided by your doctor after accessing your condition. Uses of Nintena 150 MG

Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF).
In combination with docetaxel for a type of lung cancer (non-small cell lung cancer, NSCLC).

Contraindications of Nintena 150 MG

If you are allergic to nintedanib or any other ingredient of Nintena 150, and/or to peanut or soya.
This medicine should never be used during pregnancy.

Women should not become pregnant while taking this medicine and use highly effective birth control during treatment and for at least 3 months after treatment.

It is not known if the component of Nintena 150 passes into the breastmilk. You should not breastfeed while taking this medicine.
