• If you are allergic to minoxidil or other components of Mintop Skin Solution.
• If you have a shaved scalp.
• During pregnancy and breastfeeding.
• If you are using any other topical medicines or occlusive dressings on your scalp
• Do not use it when you have any scalp abnormality, such as scalp psoriasis.
• Do not use it if you are older than 65 years or younger than 18 years.
• Do not use it if you have a heart condition unless your doctor has advised it.
• Do not use it if your scalp is broken, inflamed, infected, or sunburnt.
• If hair loss is sudden, patchy, or unexplained, it needs a diagnosis before any treatment.

Other General Warnings

• You develop chest pain, rapid heartbeat, dizziness or rash. Seek medical help immediately.
• Mintop Skin Solution is recommended only for male pattern baldness. Do not use it if you have sudden and patchy hair loss and hair loss due to childbirth.
• Patients with known heart disease or high blood pressure should take their doctor's opinion before using this Skin Solution.
• It should not be used on any body parts other than the scalp.
• You observe no hair growth even after using for four months, then seek your doctor's advice.

• Do not use a hairdryer after applying this medicine.
• Applying more than advised or more often is not going to be more effective.

• Store Mintop Skin Solution below 25°C in a clean and dry place, protected from moisture, sunlight and heat
• Keep it out of the reach of children

• Expect months, not weeks, before you see a difference.
• Do not be alarmed by extra shedding in the first few weeks. Resting hairs are pushed out as new growth starts and settles in.
• Let it dry fully before lying down or covering your head so it doesn't transfer to the pillow, your face, or anyone else.
• The benefit lasts only as long as you keep using it. Discuss any plan to stop with your doctor rather than simply stopping.
• Do not apply it to broken, inflamed, infected, or sunburnt scalp, as more is absorbed that way.

Overdose

• Mintop Skin Solution is only for external use and should not be swallowed. In case of accidental ingestion or application over larger areas for a prolonged time, consult a doctor immediately if you experience any symptoms.
• Signs and symptoms of overdose would be swelling of face, hands, and feet, increased heart rate, low blood pressure, dizziness and weakness.

Missed a Dose

• Minoxidil widens the small blood vessels that supply the follicles and lengthens the growing phase of the hair cycle. More follicles stay in active growth for longer, and hairs that had become fine and short grow thicker and longer.
• It does not correct the inherited, hormone-driven tendency behind male pattern hair loss. It works while treatment continues, and the benefit fades over several months if you stop.
