Melrio Cream Description

Melrio cream is a combination medicine used for the treatment and prevention of moderate-to-severe melasma (dark and discoloured patches on the skin) and senile lentigines (dark spots or age spots in

older people due to exposure to the sun). Melasma is a condition where the skin develops brown or blue-grey patches on the face, which may be due to hormonal changes or exposure to the sun. This medicine lightens the skin tone or its appearance. Melrio cream contains mometasone, tretinoin and hydroquinone as active ingredients. Do not use it for a prolonged duration unless it is prescribed by your dermatologist, as it contains a steroid. Avoid using this cream near eyes or contact with this cream. If it comes in contact with the eyes, rinse the eye immediately. Avoid sun exposure immediately after applying for this medicine. Melrio cream is meant only for external application and should be applied exactly as recommended by your doctor. You may experience some application site reactions as side effects, but they normally fade away with time. Please report to your doctor if you notice the side effects persists or worsen.
