Uses
- As per CDSCO, Loridin D tablets are used to manage cold and cough with upper respiratory tract (URT) infection symptoms. It reduces stuffy nose, blocked sinuses, cough, sneezing, etc.
Contraindications
- Do not take Loridin D tablets, or use caution:
- If you have a known allergic reaction to any component of Loridin D tablets.
- If you have a severe liver illness or other conditions that affect liver functioning; this medicine raises the risk of adverse effects.
- If you have an end-stage kidney disorder.
- If you have a respiratory disorder like asthma.
- If you have a history of abdominal or stomach bleeding or perforation.
- If your body has gone into shock with insufficient blood being pumped to all body parts.
- If you are a child; Loridin D tablets should not be administered to children without consulting a doctor.

- You suffer from malnutrition.
- You use any herbal or Ayurvedic supplements.
Directions for Use
- Take Loridin D tablets in the recommended dosage and duration.
- Do not use more than a single tablet at one time without asking the doctor, as this can lead to overdose symptoms.
- Take this tablet as soon as you open the pack.
- Try to swallow the entire tablet with a glass of water; do not break or chew the tablet.
- Try to take the Loridin D tablet on time.
- It is better to take it with food to prevent any stomach problems.

- Loridin D tablets interact with the following medicines:
- Taking Loridin D tablets with other medications like opioid pain relievers can cause extreme drowsiness and damage the liver.
- Taking Loridin D tablets with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) like methylene blue, naltrexone, linezolid, etc., can cause excessive side effects like drowsiness, dizziness, tremors, lethargy, vomiting, etc.
- Taking Loridin D tablets with antihistamines (anti-allergy medicine) like cetirizine and diphenhydramine can increase drowsiness.
- Taking this medicine with other medications, such as antifungal medicines, antiepileptic medicine (controls seizures), and antivirals like HIV medicines, can cause interactions and cause unwanted side effects or lower their effectiveness.
