How Does It Work?

Levozin 2.5mg syrup contains levocetirizine, which acts on the natural chemical messenger histamine, decreasing inflammatory responses. The inhibition of histamine prevents allergic reactions.

  • Concomitant use of this medication with ritonavir can increase the levels of levocetirizine in the body
  • Drugs like antipyrine and azithromycin can decrease the clearance of cetrizine
  • Concomitant use of this medicine with cimetidine, erythromycin, ketoconazole, and theophylline can decrease the clearance
