Medical Description

L-HIST Mont tablet contains a combination of Montelukast and Levocetirizine as its active ingredients. It is used to provide relief of allergic rhinitis symptoms, including a runny or stuffy nose, airway blockage, sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and other allergic symptoms. This medicine blocks the release of chemical substances, Histamine and Leukotrienes, that are responsible for allergic symptoms.

Some other tablets containing montelukast and levocetirizine are Telekast L, Montina L, Odimont Lc, Montair LC and Monticope tablets. You may experience headaches, dry mouth and dizziness after taking L-HIST Mont tablet. However, these side effects are temporary and resolve on their own. If these side effects worsen, contact your doctor immediately.

L-HIST Mont tablet should be taken as directed by the doctor, in the correct doses and for the exact duration as prescribed. Swallow it with a glass of water, with or without food. Your doctor may advise you to take the L-HIST Mont tablet, preferably at bedtime.
