Medical Description

Kimitrip Tab is an antidepressant medicine. It helps improve mood, relieve stress, and sleep aid. Kimitrip Tab treats mood disorders such as depression and anxiety. Taking a dose at the same time every day gives better results and ensures a steady dose of medicine in the body. This medicine can induce addiction: therefore taking it exactly as per the doctor's advice is mandatory. Constipation, difficulty in urinating, weight gain, confusion, and orthostatic hypotension (sudden drop in blood pressure while standing) are among the more common side effects of Kimitrip Tab. You should talk to your physician if you experience any side effects or if they don't seem to be going away. Serious side effects are rare. If you experience any unusual mood changes, that may signify suicidal thoughts. In those taking this prescription for a long time, blood and liver functions may need to be monitored regularly. Ask the doctor about the food interactions of Kimitrip Tab before starting it. Additionally, if you discontinue Kimitrip Tab abruptly without consulting your doctor, your symptoms may worsen. So make sure to talk with your doctor.

Amitriptyline works by stopping them from being converted to inactive molecules. This may contribute to the antidepressant effect and regulate one's mood by preventing the reuptake of monoamines into the brain. As well as relieving neuropathic pain (pain caused by damaged nerves), it stops signal transmission from the nerves to the brain.
