Mode of Action of Ketonext 2 %

How Does It Work?

Ketoconazole present in Ketonext cream causes holes in fungus that further causes the content of fungus to leak out. This causes death of fungal cells.

Directions for Use of Ketonext 2 %

Use Ketonext cream as per your doctor's advice
Gently rub the cream into the afflicted area and surrounding skin with clean fingertips
Do not put Ketonext cream in your eyes
Wash your hands with soap and water after using the cream to prevent you from spreading the infection to other parts of your body or to other people
Do not let other people use your napkin or towel

Keep out of reach from children and pets

Missed a Dose

If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as possible. If the next dose is approaching, skip the missing dose. Use your next dose at the same time every day. To catch up, do not increase the dose.

Q: Can I use a steroid cream along with Ketonext Antifungal Cream?

A: Put the steroid cream on in the morning and the ketoconazole cream on in the evening if you're taking a moderate steroid cream (such as hydrocortisone) to aid with swelling or inflammation caused by the skin infection. If you're going to use ketoconazole twice a day, make sure you wait at least 30 minutes before applying the steroid cream. Ask your doctor for further advice.
