Mode of Action
How Does It Work?
Indowel syp inhibits the actions of substances in the body that cause feeling nausea and vomiting. Dead cells in the body releases a substance called serotonin directly into the circulation during radiotherapy, chemotherapy, abdominal infection, or any significant surgery. Later, this stimulates particular areas in the body responsible for causing vomiting. Giving Indowel syp immediately before the treatment helps to limit the chemical's influence on the brain's antiemetic centers, preventing vomiting....

Syrup to be consumed directly, do not mix with water or any other thing.
Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- Ondansetron may interact with phenytoin, carbamazepine, and rifampicin to decrease the blood plasma concentration
- Ondansetron may reduce the analgesic action of tramadol
- Ondansetron may also interact with apomorphine
- Use of ondansetron with anthracyclines (doxorubicin, daunorubicin or trastuzumab), antibiotics (erythromycin or ketoconazole), antiarrhythmics (amiodarone), and beta-blockers (atenolol or timolol) may cause an increase in the heartbeat...
Storage and disposal

Dosage
Overdose
- Seek medical attention if you accidentally overdose. It may cause low blood pressure, dizziness, loss of consciousness, or irregular heartbeat. Please carry the product package to the doctor.
Missed a Dose
