Hopace 5 mg Tablet is an antihypertensive medicine used to control blood pressure and relieve symptoms of a heart attack. It has also been found beneficial in slowing down the changes seen in heart f

ailure when given for a longer duration. The tablet contains ramipril as its active ingredient, which belongs to a group of medicines called ACE inhibitors(angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors). ACE inhibitors are antihypertensives(controls blood pressure). It may be used alone or in combination with other blood pressure medicines(diuretics) or blood cholesterol-lowering agents. Hopace 5 mg Tablet is a prescription medicine. The dose and duration of medicine are decided by the doctor. The common side effects of Hopace 5 mg Tablet are dry cough, fall in blood pressure, hyperkalemia(increase in serum potassium levels), skin allergy(rashes), headache, nausea, and upset bowel.
