Medical Description

Grilinctus syrup is used to treat cough and cold symptoms. It can help with dry, irritating and allergic coughs, as well as bronchitis. The active ingredients in Grilinctus are a combination of ammonium chloride, chlorpheniramine, dextromethorphan and guaifenesin.

Grilinctus syrup can relieve soreness in the throat and chest by making it easier to expel coughs. Grilinctus works by combining the effects of its components. Dextromethorphan reduces dry coughing; chlorpheniramine is an anti-allergic medicine; guaifenesin helps relieve chesty coughs; and ammonium chloride increases the water content in the windpipe, making it easier to expel thick mucus.

It is important to take Grilinctus syrup exactly as prescribed by your doctor, using a measuring cup or spoon to ensure the correct amount. Do not take more than the prescribed dose. If you are allergic to any of its components, do not take this medicine.

Before starting Grilinctus syrup, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or breastfeeding, and disclose your complete medical history. You should also let your doctor know about any other medicines or supplements you are taking.
