Ingredients and Benefits
- Ginrex Plus tablet contains a combination of ginseng, multivitamins, and multi-minerals as active ingredients.
- Panax ginseng helps to treat and manage tiredness and weakness.
- Calcium helps build bones and keeps teeth healthy. It also plays a role in regulating muscle contractions, blood clotting and nerve functions. Additionally, calcium is required for normal heart health, muscles, and nerves. Calcium can help prevent osteoporosis - a condition of weak and brittle bones.
- Phosphorous is involved in the formation of bones and teeth. It has a significant impact on how the body utilizes fats and carbohydrates. The production of protein necessary for the growth, maintenance and repair of cells and tissues is regulated by phosphorous. Additionally, ATP, a chemical used by the body to store energy, is made possible by phosphorus. It supports a healthy and normal heartbeat, muscular contractions, kidney function, and nerve communication.
- Vitamin C/ascorbic acid is an antioxidant that helps the body to produce other antioxidants. It protects molecules in the body, such as proteins, lipids (fats), carbohydrates, DNA, and RNA, from damage by free radicals and reactive oxygen species. It has anti-inflammatory activity and also helps in wound healing. Additionally, it is necessary for the manufacture of collagen which is an important structural component of blood vessels, tendons, ligaments and bone. It is also required for the synthesis of carnitine, a small molecule that is necessary for energy production. Vitamin C plays an important role in immune function and enhances the absorption of nonheme iron.
- Vitamin B3/nicotinic acid is necessary for energy transfer reactions. Additionally, it is necessary for chemicals that are engaged in vital cellular processes such as the preservation of genomic integrity, regulation of gene expression, and cellular communication. It also plays a crucial part in maintaining the antioxidant activity of cells. Vitamin B3/niacinamide also helps to maintain the proper degradation and synthesis of fatty acids, carbohydrates, and amino acids.
- Iron is a key mineral body required for growth and development. It is an essential component of hemoglobin, a red blood cell protein that helps to carry oxygen through the blood to different body parts. Iron promotes healthy connective tissue and muscle metabolism. Additionally, it is important for the manufacture of certain hormones as well as for cellular activity, brain development, and physical growth.
- Zinc is a mineral that plays a role in immune function, protein synthesis, wound healing, DNA synthesis, and cell division. Additionally, zinc is necessary for a healthy sense of taste and smell and helps normal growth and development during pregnancy, infancy, and adolescence. The proper functioning of the thyroid and blood clotting depends on zinc. Additionally, it is essential for keeping vision proper.
- Vitamin E/tocopherol is an antioxidant. It protects your body's cells from the harmful effect of free radicals. It also increases your immunity, strengthens your body’s natural defense system, and helps you fight against illness and infection. Vitamin E/tocopherol also improves the texture of your skin, hair, and nails.
- Magnesium is a mineral that is required for blood pressure control, blood glucose regulation, muscle and neuron function, and protein synthesis. It is required for energy production. It is necessary for the production of genetic material and antioxidants. It helps in bone growth and the proper conduction of nerve impulses, contraction of muscles and a regular heartbeat.
- Potassium is present in all human tissues and is necessary for normal cell activity and function.
- Vitamin B2/riboflavin functions as a neuroprotective by preventing damage to the nerves caused by free radicals and other chemicals. It has a significant impact on how cells work, grow, and develop, as well as how lipids, medicines, and steroids are metabolized in the body.
- Vitamin B1/thiamine stimulates nerve cells. It provides the nerve cells with the energy they require to function properly and maintain their health. Additionally, it is essential for energy metabolism and consequently for cell growth, development and function.
- Vitamin B6/pyridoxine serves as a cofactor for a large number of enzymes that either synthesize or break down amino acids. It helps to repair nerve signals. Additionally, it ensures that nerve fibers can adequately transmit signals. Vitamin B6 helps in the production of certain molecules that the nerves need to transmit signals from the brain to the body's cells.
- Vitamin B9/folic acid is required for proper cell division. A deficiency of this vitamin can lead to a condition called megaloblastic anemia. Folic acid is also essential for the formation of red blood cells. It is also required for the formation of DNA and other genetic material.
- Manganese is involved in the metabolism of amino acids, cholesterol, glucose, and carbohydrates, as well as reducing the damaging reactive oxygen species. It is also required for bone formation, reproduction, and immunological response. Along with vitamin K, manganese contributes to your body's natural reaction to an injury that helps to stop bleeding and blood coagulation.
- Copper is required as a cofactor for several enzymes involved in energy production, iron metabolism, neuropeptide activation, connective tissue synthesis, and neurotransmitter synthesis. Additional physiological functions of copper include the regulation of gene expression, formation of new blood vessels, balance of hormones produced by nerve cells, brain development, pigmentation, and immune system performance. Additionally, copper has an indirect role in the defense against oxidative damage.
- Iodine is a mineral body required for making thyroid hormones. Thyroid hormones control the body’s metabolism and many other important functions. During pregnancy, thyroid hormone is crucial for bone and brain development.
- Vitamin B12/methylcobalamin is essential for the functioning of the brain and nerves, for the production of red blood cells, and for DNA synthesis. It also plays a major role in protein and fat metabolism, fertility and the functioning of various hormones.
- Vitamin A/retinol plays a role in growth and development and male and female reproduction. It is also essential for the proper function of the immune system. Vitamin A plays an important role in the normal formation and maintenance of the heart, lungs, eyes and other organs. It is also critical for normal sight and vision.
- Vitamin D3/cholecalciferol has a role in the metabolism of calcium and phosphorus and is important for maintaining their balance in the body. It is used for the treatment and prevention of low levels of calcium and bone disease in patients with kidneys or parathyroid gland disorders. It makes it easier for the body to absorb more calcium from meals or supplements. Cholecalciferol helps in the body's absorption of calcium and phosphorous and the uptake of those nutrients by the bones. Additionally, it supports healthy bones, teeth and muscles and plays a role in the proper maintenance of your immune, nervous and muscular systems. Cholecalciferol may be used to treat diseases like rickets, osteomalacia and familial hypophosphatemia.
