Galirex Syrup is a cough and cold medication. It is used to provide relief of the symptoms of dry cough due to excess mucus that drains from the nose to the throat making you cough. It can be used in

adults and children above 2 years of age. It contains a combination of cetirizine, phenylephrine, and dextromethorphan as active substances. Take this medicine in the exact dose and duration as directed by your doctor. Do not take more than the prescribed dose. Shake well before use. Before using Galirex Syrup, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning on becoming pregnant, breastfeeding, and about your complete medical history.   • If you are allergic to cetirizine, phenylephrine, dextromethorphan, or any other ingredient of Galirex Syrup.
  • If you have high blood pressure.
  • If you have a narrow or blockage in the blood vessels that supply blood to your heart.
  • If you are taking medicines called monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or have taken them in the last 14 days. If you are not sure what these medicines are, please confirm with your doctor.
  • If you have a condition of increased eye pressure called narrow-angle glaucoma.
  • If you are unable to completely empty the bladder due to blockage or any other condition.
  • If you have ulcers in your stomach or intestine.
