How Does It Work?
Voglibose is an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor that inhibits the maltase-glucoamylase complex in the intestine.
Repaglinide depolarizes the ß-cell membrane in the pancreatic islets.

Interactions with other medicines
- Voglibose with aspirin increases the severity of hyperglycemia
- Therapeutic effect of voglibose is increased by acebutolol
- The efficacy of voglibose is decreased by clozapine
- Trimethoprim increases the Area under the curve (AUC) and Cmax of repaglinide
- Rifampin was found to decrease the Area under the curve (AUC) and Cmax of repaglinide
- The risk of hypoglycemia is increased when Aspirin is given along with repaglinide
- If you consume other medications, do mention it to your physician before administering Eurepa V Tablet
