Etizep Tablet belongs to the class of benzodiazepines that are a part of sedatives and hypnotics. It treats sleeping disorders like insomnia, anxiety, and panic disorders. It helps regulate the amoun
t of a chemical substance present in the brain known as gamma-aminobutyric acid ( GABA). Etizep Tablet should be taken at a dose and concentration as prescribed by the doctor. It should be taken at a particular time of the day to maintain the concentration of the chemical substances in the brain. Some of this medicine's most common side effects are impaired muscle coordination, slurred speech, fatigue, impaired sexual desires, and headaches. Most side effects are mild and don’t affect day-to-day activities. However, you should immediately consult a doctor if any of the symptoms bother you.

- Antidepressants (Fluoxetine, Paroxetine, Sertraline) can cause a decrease in respiratory rate and a fall in blood pressure levels.
- Antihistamines (Cetirizine, Chlorpheniramine, Clemastine) can increase the side effects of Etizep tablets, like drowsiness and impairment in consciousness.
- Antipsychotics (Aripriprazol, Asenapine, Clozapine, Risperidone) can cause a decrease in respiratory rate and low blood pressure levels.
- Opioid analgesics (Codeine) can cause extreme drowsiness.
- Calcium-channel blockers (Verapamil, Diltiazem) can decrease blood pressure to dangerously low levels.
- Diuretics (furosemide) can affect the metabolism of Etizep Tablets.
- Antacids (Cimetidine, Esomeprazole, Omeprazole) as it decreases the absorption of the medicine.
- Muscle relaxants (succinylcholine, atracurium) as it increase weakness and fatigue.
- Vasodilators (Hydralazine, Minoxidil and Nitroprusside) as it decreases the blood pressure to dangerously low levels.
- Antifungals (ketoconazole) as it interfere with the metabolism of the medicine.

- Antiepileptics (phenytoin, Carbamazepine) as it increase the chances of convulsions.
- Β-blockers (Propranolol) as it can decrease blood pressure and respiratory rate.
