Esomefol Dsr Strip Of 10 Capsules
Description
Esomefol DSR Capsule is a medication used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), a condition where stomach acid frequently flows back into the oesophagus, causing symptoms such as heartburn, chest discomfort, acidity, and indigestion. This capsule contains domperidone and esomeprazole, a combination that helps decrease excess stomach acid and enhances the movement of food through the stomach, providing effective relief from acid reflux symptoms.
The esomeprazole in Esomefol DSR works by reducing acid production in the stomach, while domperidone increases stomach and intestinal movement, preventing acid and food from flowing back into the oesophagus. Together, these actions help alleviate burning pain, bloating, and nausea and improve digestion, making it easier to manage GERD and related acidity issues.
For optimal results, Esomefol DSR Capsule should be taken at least one hour before meals or as advised by your doctor. Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew it. Along with the medication, adopting lifestyle changes such as eating smaller meals, avoiding spicy or oily foods, and not lying down immediately after eating can help increase the effectiveness of the treatment.
Like any medication, Esomefol DSR Capsule may cause some temporary side effects such as diarrhoea, stomach pain, flatulence (gas), dry mouth, or headache. These side effects usually resolve on their own. However, if they persist or become bothersome, it is best to inform your doctor. Always take this medicine at the prescribed dose and never exceed the recommended treatment duration without consulting your doctor.
Before starting Esomefol DSR Capsules, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding. Additionally, individuals with liver disease or any other medical condition should disclose their health history to their doctor to ensure safe use. When combined with a healthy diet, adequate sleep, and lifestyle modifications, Esomefol DSR Capsule can provide lasting relief from acid reflux and help improve your digestive health.
