Dutas Capsule
Description
Dutas Capsule is a medicine used in men to treat a condition called benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), also known as an enlarged prostate. This condition can cause symptoms such as difficulty passing urine, weak urine flow, frequent urination at night, or a feeling that the bladder isn’t completely empty. By shrinking the enlarged prostate, Dutas Capsule helps make urination easier and reduces discomfort.
The main ingredient in Dutas Capsule is dutasteride, which works by lowering the production of a hormone (DHT) responsible for prostate growth. Over time, this helps reduce the size of the prostate and improves urinary flow. However, it may take a few months of regular use before you notice improvement, so it’s important to continue taking it as directed by your doctor.
Women, especially those who are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, should never handle Dutas Capsules. The medicine can be absorbed through the skin and may harm an unborn baby if exposed. If a pregnant woman accidentally touches a broken or leaking capsule, the area should be washed immediately with soap and water to avoid any risk.
Men taking Dutas Capsule should also know that the medicine can pass into semen. If their partner is pregnant or may become pregnant, precautions should be taken to prevent exposure. Dutasteride may also temporarily reduce sperm count and movement, which can affect fertility in some men, but these effects are usually reversible after stopping treatment.
Always take Dutas Capsule exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not stop the medicine suddenly without consulting your doctor, even if your symptoms improve. Regular check-ups are important for monitoring your progress and ensuring the medicine is working safely. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle and drinking plenty of water can also support better urinary health while on this medication.
